Job Description
|
Responsibilities:
•Design, build, maintain, and enhance the xxxx Calling platform from the ground up. The xxxx broad casting service is a unique delivery service to deliver content and media to the mobile generation.
• Work with VOIP providers to ensure routing and proper handling of calls including troubleshooting issues affecting calls and calling issues, including call quality, call completion rates, etc.
• Build and maintain conference and group calling features to work with our one of a kind service
• Document and plan new features working with the development group to deliver on time and on budget.
• Work with other members of the engineering team to create business critical application features and enhancements.
FULL TIME POSITION/Contract/Contract to hire
• Must have 3+ years experience setting up, configuring and maintaining high volume asterisk servers
• Must have excellent knowledge of telecommunications and VOIP protocols involving and related to calls
• Nice to have experience with Asterisk programming interfaces
• Nice to have experience programming enterprise applications using java and related technologies
• Essential technologies: Asterisk, AMI, AGI, OpenSer, SQL, PL/SQL, SIP
• Bonus technologies: java, C++
• Experience with Speech Analytics and IVR are definite bonuses.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to work in a quickly changing and fast paced environment
• A BS is required.
